Introduction
Students complete the word association game, either as a whole group on a whiteboard or in groups using the worksheets provided. This could be concluded by a brief discussion about what they have found so far.
Activity
Individually or in small groups, students then use the activity ‘Investigating the range of active citizenship activities’, using their workbook sheets to record their thoughts and to establish whether each type of activity would interest them. They are then asked to record the advantages and disadvantages of working with organisations.
