Introduction

Initial discussion about what the subject citizenship is about. This reminds them of the school’s definition of citizenship and of what they have done so far in the subject.

Activity 1

Link the concept of citizenship with volunteering. Does volunteering make you a good citizen?

Student led activity – ‘My previous activity’ This reinforces their learning and can act as a baseline assessment for later reflection. This activity can be done in pairs with one student interviewing the other and taking notes.
