Educate students about cyber bullying – how it happens and how it can be stopped. This assembly is for KS3 and KS4 students. It talks about how any form of bullying is not acceptable and the many ways that it can be stopped. It goes through definitions, opinions, causes and cues. This assembly can be used in connection with our Bullying assembly. Both assemblies cover the types of victims, the aggressors and how to tackle the overall problem.

Cyber Bullying Assembly Plan

This cyber bullying assembly comes with a full script that teachers can use and PowerPoint presentation that contains accompanying information. It can be used in PSHE and RE lessons for particular modules.

The assembly begins by stating the topic and clarifying that bullying is not accepted at the school. It then goes on through to give a full definition of cyber bullying. Cases of this are bullet pointed that have been made aware of in the media.

Students are made aware of what actions and words constitute as cyber bullying, the forms that it comes in and the big role that social networking has on the topic. Results from surveys are displayed, showing the true nature of this problem. Students are required to give feedback in certain parts of the assembly.

Sites that can help stop bullying and support victims are listed at the end for both teachers and students use.
