Introduction
Read the feature ‘Our Chairman’s Viewpoint’ in Catalyst. Ask for any reactions to the article and whether they have heard of a ‘business angel’. Explain that they will be finding out about business angels.
Business angels are people who are interested in investing money in businesses. They also offer invaluable advice and experience. Unlike venture capitalists, they are normally investing their own cash, and usually offer finance up to the £500,000 level.
