This topic is divided into two sessions. In part 1, students will consider a number of 'what if' scenarios which cover topical issues/questions which arise when on work placement/when you start a new job. Session 2 looks at how people act in the workplace alongside some of the legal issues relating to behaviour in the workplace.
By the end of these sessions students will:- Have considered a number of possible issues that may arise during a work placement
Understand their responsibilities and the expectations employers will have of them during their placement. Have a basic knowledge of the legal issues relating to behaviour in the workplace.
