About the Why Revise? Lesson Plan

The Why Revise? lesson plan looks to develop a student study skills in preparation for taking exams. The plan looks at interacting with students through group and individual activity as well as through teacher-led discussions – ensuring students can talk through any exam anxieties they have and ultimately ensuring that you have fully prepared your students for any exams they undertake. For many students achieving a revision state of mind is difficult and it is important to teach students that they will be deepening and strengthening their knowledge and learning by doing so. It is important to remember that revising takes time and energy and as a teacher you need to highlight that the reasons and outcomes to revision will help drive students to success now and in the future.

Aims
