Enterprise and your Community - Making Changes Lesson 2

This is lesson 3 of 4 looking at how communities can bring about change through strategic action and planning.

Working in both groups and as a class, students will review the findings from the previous lesson, where students presented their ideas on their ideal community to the rest of the class.

Which ideas were selected as being practical enough to be applied to their actual community? As a class, students will vote on which idea they think would have the biggest benefit to the community and is the most realistic. More than one idea can be selected if required.

In the main activity, students work together to complete an action plan which will help them get their ideas in front of key decision makers.

To demonstrate the learning in this lesson, students finally take part in a human barometer activity before previewing the next steps in lesson 4
