Enterprise and your Community - Making Changes Part 1

In this module students will be learning about how improving their community requires creative thinking, innovation and problem-solving skills. These are key enterprise qualities.

Using the worksheet from lesson 1, case studies and online information, students will begin to understand some of the key principles of planning a community before presenting their own ideas to the class.

In the main activity, students will be required to create a visual representation of their ideal community, so modelling materials, drawing materials and plenty of space will be required!

Students must also consider potential problems and conflicts which may arise when planning a community.

This lesson will contribute to the Economic wellbeing and financial capability learning outcomes as follows:
