OVERVIEW

Stages 3 and 4

How these stages are implemented will depend on what activities are being organised and how far students are involved in the planning stage. However, it is important that, once the activity is under way groups reassemble at regular points to review what they have been doing, noting any changes to the original plan and so on.

It is helpful to read through the student workbook framework first, which covers:

- Flowchart of activities
- Action Plan
- Research
- Fundraising
- Changes made to plan
- Activity Record

The key things to do as the project continues are to ensure that: Individual activity records are being maintained

Evidence is being collected – both of group activities and the individuals’ role within them

Any changes to the project plan are recorded, along with reasons why changes were necessary

Stage 5 - Learning Objectives

To identify and use a range of evaluation techniques and skills.

To accurately evaluate the effectiveness of your participation, using self-assessment, peer assessment, and feedback from others.

To learn how to improve your own performance.

To recognise how you have made a difference in your school and/or local community, and how the project/event has provided opportunities for you and the team to work together and contribute to change.
